Mammography Technologist:

Well-established Women's Medical Imaging organization in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida is seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist for their imaging facility.  They have 1 physical location that provide state-of-the-art 2D / 3D diagnostic medical imaging services specializing in digital mammography and breast ultrasound. The ideal candidate must be well versed in all aspects of clinical breast imaging and patient care. Candidate must be ARRT Radiologic Technologist registration and ARRT Mammography Registration. GENERAL SUMMARY

Performs a variety of standard mammography procedures with emphasis on screening and diagnostic mammograms in a safe and efficient manner. Maintains compliance with Federal, State and Regional regulations. Maintains compliance with the Mammography Quality Standards Act. Provides education to patients on breast health awareness.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operates computer and mammography equipment for image production and documentation.

  • Documents patient assessment and history.

  • Provides patient education.

  • Practices accurate and timely completion of scheduled and unscheduled work to maximize productivity.

  • Performs quality control measures for the purpose of ensuring optimal images.

  • Enters and properly completes all patient information including exam charges and supplies into the Radiology Information System (RIS).

  • Prepares digital images for interpretation by Radiologist in an accurate and timely manner.

  • Exhibits flexibility and adaptability to unique needs of the department and respond appropriately.

  • Communicate abnormal situations to proper sources in a way that facilitates resolution and/or tracking.

  • Actively engages other health care providers (radiologist, surgeons, specialist, sonographers) to ensure quality, continuity and appropriateness of care.

  • Follows department procedures/processes/policies.

  • Practices safety measures in radiography by adhering to all governing regulations.

  • Follows universal precautions, infection control guidelines and sterile technique.

  • Complies with all governing regulations.

  • Stocks and cleans exam rooms/work areas.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Applies the profession's code of ethics in all aspects of practice.

 

 

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • ARRT Radiologic Technologist registration AND ARRT Mammography Registration.

Required License:

  • RT ( R ) (M) ARRT

  • BA

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Two (2) years’ experience as a Radiologic Technologist/ Mammographer required.

  • Knowledge of MQSA and ACR guidelines.

  • Knowledge of Mammography Quality Control and Quality Assurance.

  • General knowledge of policies and procedures for the delivery of healthcare services.

  • Intermediate PC (keyboarding & navigation) skills.

Field Service Technician

Local area companies in East Tennessee are seeking experienced and qualified Field Service Technicians. Electro/Mechanical skills and experience is a must:

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the designing team in determining the configuration of the product as per the product utility

  • Review the designs and evaluate its ability to deliver quality performance prior to the development stage

  • Communicate with the project leads to confirm that all the resources required for product development are available

  • Study the schematics and blueprints in order to learn the configuration and methods of assembling the equipment and machinery

  • Assemble and built up the machinery using the instruments such as power tools, hand tools, oscilloscope, soldering irons, etc.

  • Make sure the product dimensions and specifications match up to the approved designs

  • Record and report the test results to the senior management and notify them about the defects and inconsistencies, if any.

  • Perform periodic repairs and up-gradation of the machinery and equipment to ensure consistency with quality parameters

  • Take care that the products comply with the safety measures and do not pose threat to the user

  • Document all the tests conducted and the results derived to maintain a record of the product development procedures

  • Supervise the work of the documentation teams and ensure they prepare accurate user guides and manuals

  • Calibrate the instruments commonly used for assembling

  • Test, repair and upgrade the factory machinery and repairing instruments to maintain the efficiency

 

Electro Mechanical Field Service Technician

The Electro Mechanical Field Service Technician position is a critical player at our client companies.

A readiness to travel of up to 75% is expected.
 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform service and maintenance of client equipment sold in the United States

  • Travel to customer sites to install, maintain, inspect and repair equipment

  • Install, maintain, repair both mechanical and electrical systems and components on machinery following blueprints, electrical codes, schematics, and manuals, both at customer sites and in-house

  • Install wiring and conduit and connects power supply to machine

  • Assist with in-house assembly and related activities

  • Follow instructions and duties as requested by supervisor

  • Valid Driver’s License is required.

  • Eligibility to obtain a Passport

  • A successful candidate for the Field Service Technician position will need to be sharp in a technical capacity. A portion of the job deals with customer service which entails communication proficiency, both verbal and written form. Although the position requires a person who is independent with good time management/project management skills, it also requires the ability to work in a team for some projects

Qualifications and Skills

  • Required Education and Experience

  • The travel requirements for this position are approximately 75%

  • Previous experience in packaging industry a plus

  • An Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year technical school in the Electro-Mechanical field. PLC troubleshooting knowledge a plus.
